Installed same battery from this seller in numerous Macbook Pro 13s. Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: new | Sold by: aibocn That has gone away, my thighs are spared now from getting cooked. But all in all, battery works great for the price! My Macbook base used to overheat too almost burning my thighs. Maybe because now I upgraded to 16 gig that I have more processing power a nd is running up my battery more? I checked my battery cycle after this exercise and I am now at 4 (not sure if this is normal or not after 2 days). When my macbook was brand new, I recall the battery lasting 8 hrs but I only had 4 gigs of ram then. So from 8:30 to 12:30 pm, I surfed, watched videos, lots of emailing typing and after 4 hours, I was down to 31% power. Then I plugged in again overnight and started using when I woke up. Then use it unplugged until it gets discharged and leave discharged for 5 hours. So I powered off pc, recharged until the light on the adapter turns green, turned on pc, used while plugged in for 2 hours.

I had to watch some YouTube videos to get the calibration instructions as the manual included has 1 as font size :-) and I don't have the best of eyesight. Made my mid 2012 Macbook Pro 13.3" new againīought this 2 days ago.
